The whole point is that current SA Government Policy will lead to the heavy loss of jobs in the South East, not only in the timber industry, but also in service type jobs (teachers, nurses, tradies) that service timber industry employees and their families. Yes, part of a mill at Millicent is closing, and another mill threatened, as a result of the government policy of "free trade", which seems to be "free" but not "fair". No doubt we will hear more of this in the mainstream media before too long.
