Classified Advertisements are free for all categories except Real Estate. Click on "Classifieds" on the Top Menu for more information.

Banner advertisements are allocated to a page position, meaning that you do not share that position with someone else's advertisement. You have exclusive right to the position we agree on for the term of your advertisement.

Banner advertisements appear:

• at the top of every page, to the right of the Lake News logo;
• at the right of every page, immediately below the Search box; and
• at the bottom of every page.

Fees & Charges:

• Top Banner
  • $17.60 per day - Front page
  • $13.20 per day - Other pages
• Right or Centre Column Banner
  • $8.80 per day - Front page
  • $6.60 per day - Other pages
• Bottom Banner
  • $4.40 per day for each of the 3 positions
  • $13.20 per day for full page width

Discounts are available when you book a page position for a minimum of 3 months.

• 20% discount - 3 calendar months or more
• 40% discount - 12 calendar months or more

More Information

• Banner advertisements can be linked directly to a web page of your choice for no extra charge.
• Standard banner sizes are:
  • 468 x 60 pixels for the top banner
  • 234 x 60 pixels for the right column banner
    • The depth of 60 pixels may be increased for the right column banner, according to your needs
  • 234 x 60 pixels for the three bottom banners
• All banner advertisements must be paid for before they are displayed.
• If you do not pay by direct bank deposit, there will be a payment processing charge.
• Lake News can prepare a simple advertisement for you at no charge. You are encouraged to prepare the advertisement yourself, or have one professionally prepared.
• Contract rates are available by request.

Terms & Conditions

Absolute Discretion

Lake News pays the insurance bill, so it has the absolute right to either accept or reject any advertisement.

Agreed Rates

The above rates are subject to change by us at any time. However, if we agree on a rate with you to display an advertisement for a period of time, and you have paid your advertising account in full, our rates for that advertisement will not change during that agreed period.

GST

GST is not included in, and will not be added to, any of our quoted prices.
