The Department for Environment and Heritage (DEH) is offering free entry into national parks and 50% discount off guided tours this Saturday 19 September 2009 to celebrate World Parks Day.

Anne Sellar, Director of Visitor Management, said World Parks Day highlights the significance of our parks and promotes a greater appreciation of green spaces in urban areas.

Recent rain refreshes Tantanoola Cave E-mail

Recent rainfall has revitalised Tantanoola Cave, instilling this ancient landscape with new life.

Decima McTernan from the Department for Environment and Heritage said Tantanoola Cave is always a magnificent place to visit.

Little Dip coastal track now partly closed E-mail

Climbing Mount Gambier for tourism E-mail

Robe Visitor Information Centre staff members Leonie Peel and Wendy White were fortunate to attend a recent showcasing of Mount Gambier and Port MacDonnell attractions.

The Limestone Coast Visitor Information Provider Network (LCVIP) holds two famils per year, with funding assistance from Limestone Coast Tourism. A famil is a "tourism tour" which allows the participant to become familiar with the attractions and services, and therefore will be able to easily promote these attractions to visitors to the Limestone Coast.
