Maggie Breen is the latest Mount Gambier & District junior sports person to benefit from the Junior Sports Assistance Fund.

Maggie has been selected in the 2010 State U16 Girls Softball Team to compete at the Australian Under 16 Girls Championships to be held in Blacktown, NSW, from 10 to 16 January 2010.

The donation of $300 is to be made available to the Mount Gambier Softball League on behalf of Maggie.

The Fund has made this donation to assist Maggie to achieve excellence and to be able to compete at a national (or international) level to gain valuable experience.

Donations made this financial year to member organisations total $6,150, with a progressive total of $278,100 since the commencement of payments from the Fund on 1 July 1998.
