Cottee's Schools Soccer came to Mount Gambier this week, as Tenison Woods College hosted a 5-a-Side Gala Day. The event provided children the opportunity to participate and play small sided football in a carnival like atmosphere.
Vito Basile, from Football Federation Australia, extended his thanks to John MacGregor for his support and assistance in organising a venue and with the set up/pack up of the day. The Cottee's Schools 5-a-side Gala Days have covered all areas of South Australia, with the Mount Gambier event finishing off the "road trip" of regional visits. With local news and media coverage, the day will now leave a lasting impression of grassroots football growth in the region.
