The start of the second round of the WBSA Premership saw the reigning premiers International travel to Naracoorte for their second encounter in the past 2 weeks.

Inter was almost back to full strength, while Naracoorte welcomed back Kevin Marshall to their line up.

The Naracoorte defence were kept busy early on, trying desperately not to concede early, and keep a respectful score.

It didn't take long however, for the powerful Inter team to get the scoring going, and from a great through ball from Christian Cella, which found Dave Galloway running towards goal, and with his clever touch he beat the advancing goalkeeper and scored the first goal at the 5 minute mark. Adam Osman made it 2 - 0 after 10 minutes when he scored his first for the game, and a big score line was imminent.

To Naracoorte's credit, they dug deep and withstood the mounting pressure, and with some fine saves by their goalkeeper, kept the scoring down.

Joel Redfern was unlucky not to score when his powerful shot rebounded off the crossbar, and seemed to cross the line, but the referee did not award the goal.

Near the end of the first Half, Captain Dante Bonner scored 2 goals in two minutes, the first when he found himself free on the edge of the goal square, and fired home. This was followed up a minute later with another, to give International a comfortable 4 - 0 lead at half time.

Naracoorte were pleased with the efforts at holding out, but were not creating many opportunities for themselves.

Naracoorte had no answer in the second period for the hard running of Joel Redfern, Christian Cella and Dante Bonner, who were creating havoc for the Naracoorte defence, and providing many chances for the Inter forwards of Barry McCoy, Marcus Morony and Dave Galloway.

Joel Redfern continued his fantastic goalscoring run this year, when he demonstrated all his class to score his first goal at the start of the second half.

From the 23rd minute mark, Christian Cella took control of the game and took his own performance to a new level. The Naracoorte team had no answer for his superb display, proving he was back to full fitness, which saw him score his first of a hat trick in a 15-minute spell. Redfern put a blistering through ball to Cella who clinically finished with a well placed shot into the bottom right hand corner of the goal.

Adam Osman never stopped running at the Naracoorte players, and they found it more and more difficult to contain him as the match progressed. Osman scored his second for the game as well, when he finished off from a pass by Chris Williams, and giving his team a healthy 7 nil lead.

Christian Cella scored his second when from an inch perfect pass by Adam Osman, he blasted a powerful shot passed the helpless Naracoorte Keeper.

Marcus Morony was desperately unlucky not to open his account for the game, when his individual run saw him not only beat the Naracoorte defence, but rounded the goalkeeper, but from an acute angle could only hit the post, which rebounded for Joel Redfern to tap in for his second goal for the game.

Morony did finally get on the score board, when he scored his team's 10th for the game, and the scoring ended for the day, when Man of the Match Christian Cella scored his third. Adam Osman again was credited with the assist, when he drilled a low pass towards the back post for Cella to run onto, and from an impossible angle, Cella made it look to easy, scoring and giving Inter a comfortable 11 nil win.
